Glenn Reeder - Senior Pastor

Pastor Glenn was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He invited Jesus into his heart as a young child at the Hamilton First Church of the Nazarene. While a student in college he became aware of his need to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and welcomed the deeper cleansing of his life by the Holy Spirit. He received his Bachelor of Theology at Canadian Nazarene College in Winnipeg and a Master of Divinity in Kansas City.  He pastored in Pickering, Cambridge, and Brantford, Ontario before joining our congregation in 2001.

Glenn and Dorothy have two children, Julia and Luke. Julia and Richard were married in 2003 and now make Calgary their home with their daughter Caydence Elizabeth.  Luke is a fourth year music major at Canadian Nazarene University College. 

Pastor Reeder has a caring heart for everyone he encounters.  He sees the needs of each person who belongs to our church family and works hard at tending to them.  He sees the potential in us and gives gentle encouragement for us to use our gifts to their fullest.  Most of all he sees the individual character in all of us and strives to be our friend.  We are excited to see what God has in store for us as we follow God's calling through Pastor Glenn's leadership.  (more info on Pastor Reeder)

Alex was born and raised right here in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. From a very early age, she discovered her love for music. This love was grown and cultivated by her parents, to the point that she decided to study music education in University. She is currently entering her final year of a five-year Bachelor of Music Education degree at the University of Prince Edward Island.

Alex's passion for music overflows into her spiritual life. She loves to sing and play worship music as a means of praising her Saviour - and she loves to share this with other people. She began working with the youth band several years ago, and discovered how much she loves working with and worshipping with the teens of our church.

In 2006, she was chosen as the Nazarene Youth International (NYI) president of the Summerside Nazarene Church. Her duties include chairing the NYI council meetings, planning and running Thursday night Youth Group, Sunday night Youth Connections, and rehearsing and directing the youth band, "Ecclesia."

Anna is very involved in the life of our congregation: Anna and her husband Dean host the Wednesday evening home groups. She teaches an adult Sunday School class and helps with the Thursday evening youth program. Anna started and maintains our heavily utilized church library.
