Welcome

Welcome to our Cyber Ministry Centre. It is our desire that this site will provide you with more than information about our Congregation. As you browse you will discover that Jesus loves you and desires a personal relationship with you. You will also discover there are many ways to live out your faith, ways that encompass all ages and abilities. There is a place for everyone in God’s Kingdom and, because of that, there is a place in our Church for you and your family. We invite you to join us for times of celebrating God’s love and presence. You will find a church that offers opportunities to use your skills and talents. You will also find yourself in a place very much like home, where you can be yourself and be confident that you are loved. Come and get to know us. You will find there is more to our Church than meets the eye.

Something for everyone

Could it be that there might actually be something here for everyone? Yes indeed. As seniors you will find Prime Time every second Thursday. As adult men and women there are Branch Ministries to help you grow. As teens you will find that Thursday night is a great time to have fun with other teens and learn God's ways. As children you will find Kid's Club to help you be the best you can be. And for everyone in general there is Sunday School for every group. Last but not least, every Sunday there are morning and evening services to worship and praise.

Who are we?

The Church of the Nazarene was founded in 1908 from the seeds of a revival. It was officially organized in Summerside in 1943 and in the spring of 1944 a building was raised to house the congregation. The building has undergone changes and growth just as the congregation has.
First and foremost we stand firm on the word of God as found in the Bible and strive to work out the miracle of God's forgiveness, through Jesus Christ, in our lives.

We welcome you to come and join us as we learn and grow as people of God. You will find real people here, people who strive to do their best but do make mistakes and find love and faithfulness from God. People who know that no church is perfect but only as we draw nearer to God and to each other do we make an eternal difference of lasting value. We welcome you.
